About Brick It
Brick It is a modification with the dedicated goal to create a Lego universe. Our universe should pick up as many different Lego elements as possible and unite them to a single unit. Regarding the models, we want to realize this project as realistic as we can - so the rebuilding of the objects with real Lego bricks can be guaranteed (in certain limits of course). Concerning the physics we will choose a middle path between realism and abstract, unreal characteristics, to maximize the fun factor of Brick It. We want to combine a lot of various happy colors, animations, funny effects and lots more.
First of all we will concentrate on creating different multiplayer maps, playable in various modes. Although we certainly use elements of past and present world history, we do not want to represent real areas or locations. We dissociate ourselves from any political and social conflicts of any kind and our maps are based only on our own fantasy and creativity.
We do not have certain rules for our weapons. Values like variety, fun and balance are important. That means, that we will provide different weapons for every kind of player, but no "superweapons", which would, because of their supremacy, take away the other players' fun.
Our vehicles follow similar rules like our weapons. We try to consider and combine all types of different possibilities of movement to maximize the fun for all players.
Statics and Vegetation
We adapt all the different kinds of buildings, objects and vegetation to fill our universe. All the statics as well as vegetation are theme-oriented to match specific maps.
All our members are volunteers in the Brick It team and work, as long as they are motivated and have the needed time, on the modification. In this way we try to create a modification which will provide fun for a lot of gamers. As said before, the modification is NOT our full-time job and we will not work wonders and create something new everyday. However, we try to have a constant development and provide updates regularly.
